EVERYBODY deserves to look amazing in their pictures……
It’s about that time when high school seniors are starting to think about knocking out their last year. Along with that grind comes the added responsibility of taking care of the required tasks needed to actually walk out of there for the last time. There’s the ordering of the cap and gown, the dreaded SAT/ACT tests, and of course, the senior portraits.
I remember going to one of the well-known studio photography places to get mine done. There were shots of me standing up against a wall or leaning on a banister, then there were a few shots taken of me sitting, and that was about it. I remember being happy with the clothing choices because I was rocking this pretty slick-looking suit. That’s the one main thing that stands out to me, though. The setting was the same setting thousands of other seniors used and the photographer knew absolutely nothing about me.
Knowing what I know now, I believe that the pictures a high school senior displays should represent them in the most accurate way possible. If you are able to create that representation in a studio, by all means, go for it! If you’re looking for a bit more than that, then this is where I come in.
Let Me Be Your Storyteller……
One of the things that makes us the individuals we are is the story we have to tell. I want to know your story. Listening to that story makes the pieces of the puzzle come together in my head. All of the details about what they are into, what they don’t like and what gets them pumped are the puzzle pieces.
The fun part about the conversation, is how much information I get outside of the spoken dialogue. When a senior starts to talk about a topic they’re passionate about, a different person emerges. They go from being laid back and cool to wide-eyed and completely oblivious to what’s going on outside of our conversation. THAT is the stuff I need to know about. These are the things that I want to base our photo shoot on.
If you want your senior pictures to reflect what YOU are about, give me a call and we can go over the process in detail. For more information, please shoot me an email on my contact page, here. Lets send you off into that high school sunset lookin’ AMAZING!!!
